Showit Website Template for Memberships

Showit is a super-easy subscription-based website builder that gives you ultimate creative freedom. Unlike other websites themes and templates that lock you into designing in columns and rows, with Showit, you can literally drag and drop any element, anywhere on the page!

Since Showit is subscription-based, in order to use this template, you need to sign up for a paid Showit hosting account.

Note: This template does not provide membership hosting by itself.

You will need to use a third-party membership app like Kajabi, Thrivecart, Circle, Facebook Groups, etc. to host your members-only area. Or you can use a WordPress membership plugin (such as MemberPress or Restrict Content Pro) to create a basic members-only area connected to your Showit site.

And don’t worry, if you run into any bumps we’ll be there for you to help you work through anything that comes up. Every template comes with 60 days of technical support to make sure you are able to successfully get your site up and running smoothly.

This template is a multi-page website template. The names of the pages/categories, how many categories and posts there are, is fully customizable within Showit and WordPress. Upon purchase, you will receive an access code to load into your paid Showit account and a detailed user-guide for updating your template.

The cost of your Showit hosting or a custom domain is not included in your purchase. You will need to sign up for a Showit subscription to use this template. If you would like a custom domain, you can purchase one through any provider you choose, usually for a small cost between $8-15/yr.

Note: This template includes free Google fonts and commercial-free-for use / AI-generated images images. You will not receive any actual font files or image files with your purchase, but all assets will be embedded and you are free to use any of them or replace them with your own fonts / images.

No, not out of the box. The Ruth template isn’t a membership platform — it’s designed to be a website that markets and promotes your membership-based business.

To deliver courses + private content, collect payment, or foster a community space, you’ll still need a membership platform like Kajabi, Circle, Facebook Group or ThriveCart Learn.

If you want to keep things simple, you can also use a WordPress membership plugin (like MemberPress or Restrict Content Pro) to create a members-only section right on your site (works only for Showit Advanced Blog plan.)

Yes! You can repurpose this website template for any kind of business. If you like the layout / style of the design, but want to transform it for a non-membership based business, Showit gives you all the creative freedom to do so. Yes. This template integrates with WordPress to support blogging and adding plugins from the WordPress plugin library, but your site needs to be hosted on Showit (through WP Engine) in order to use this template.

You’ll have the creative freedom of Showit driving the design of your site and the publishing power of WordPress for your blog – both working together. 

If you already have a website host, your Showit hosting cost will replace this expense. If you already have a blog on WordPress, Showit will help you import all your existing post content into your new Showit site seamlessly and you can continue to use WordPress to publish your blog posts as you normally do.

Absolutely not! You don’t need to know an ounce of code to be able to use this template. Using Showit’s drag-and-drop builder, you can easily customize your content, colors and fonts to fit your brand.

If you are familiar working in Canva or Photoshop, using Showit’s page builder should come very easily to you. Even if you don’t have experience with design programs, you will be provided with a step-by-step tutorial for customizing your site and should be able to make it look like your own within a few hours.

Absolutely! All templates are built so that you can swap in your existing logo or use the template’s logo as a base design and edit it directly in ShowIt.

Your template can be customized with your favorite colors or brand palette to make it all your own. The user guide and video tutorials will walk you through step-by-step on how to change and customize all the parts of your site.

You can add any custom fonts that you own or purchase a web license for. (Fonts must be loaded as a .WOFF file) Or you can use the built-in fonts from the Google Fonts library. If you don’t want to change the fonts, you can keep all of the fonts that come with the template.
