If you’ve spent any time on Pinterest or scrolling through Showit website template shops, you already know how fast “I’m just browsing” turns into a $300 impulse buy on a template that looked incredible… until you realized it had nowhere to put your services, your opt-in, or anything that actually runs your business.
Showit website templates are genuinely some of the most beautiful kind of websites out there. But beautiful doesn’t always mean right for your business. The website template that works for a wedding photographer is going to completely fail a coach who needs a sales page, a podcast hub, and a lead magnet front and center.
That’s why I think you should be looking for a template by industry instead… Because a photographer’s website needs to do a completely different job than a coach’s, a copywriter’s, or a speaker’s. The right website template is built around how YOUR business actually works, not just how it looks.
Here are my fave picks across popular niches, including some of my own templates and a few others from designers I genuinely love + respect. (You can use the handy links below to jump around faster.)
- Coaches + Course Creators
- Authors + Speakers
- Copywriters + Strategists
- Photographers
- Content Creators + Podcasters
- Creative Agencies
OK, BUT… Why Showit in the first place?
Worth a quick sidebar before we get into my picks… because if you’re new to Showit, you might be wondering why even bother with Showit specifically or just what the heck is it?
Showit is a drag-and-drop website builder that gives you true design freedom without needing to touch ANY code. Unlike Squarespace or even a lot of WordPress themes, what you see in the editor is actually what shows up on your site… It’s also the only major platform I’m aware of that lets you design your mobile site completely independently from your desktop, which means you’re not stuck with whatever responsive behavior the theme decides for you.
Showit actually runs on WordPress behind the scenes, which means you can still have a blog and optimize your SEO. And the templates that are available out there are genuinely gorgeous. Almost all of the designers I know who build websites for Showit really care about the craft and quality of their work.
That’s why I’ve been a Showit Design Partner since 2014 and why every template in this roundup is built on it 🙂

Best Showit Website Templates for Copywriters + Brand Strategists

Reina by K Design Co.
Reina is one of my personal favorite templates! She’s chic, she’s confident, and she was designed specifically as a website template for copywriters who wants a website as sharp as their work. Strategic layout, beautiful type moments, and enough personality to stand out in a crowded market.

Northfolk’s Chronicle template is a strong pick for copywriters who want something more editorial and minimal. Clean lines, great typography focus, and built on Showit so you get full design flexibility. Perfect if your brand leans sleek and serious rather than warm and playful.
Best Showit Website Templates for Photographers

La Simplicite by Foil & Ink
Romantic, editorial, and effortlessly stunning, La Simplicité was made for the wedding photographer, planner, or florist who wants a website as beautiful as the work she creates. Think minimalist layouts, timeless typography, and interactive gallery options that stop people mid-scroll.

Becca by K Design Co.
Bold + funky, this showit website template for content creators who have a lot to say. Becca was specifically designed for coaches, service providers, podcasters and content creators who want to grow their community, share their content, and actually convert listeners into buyers.

Hayley Lowe by Oregon Lane
Dynamic, stylish, and built for the influencer or lifestyle blogger who needs her website to wow potential brand partnerships as much as her audience. Hayley comes with a media kit page, affiliate link section, shop, blog, and press page.

FAQS About Showit Templates
Yes!! That is honestly the whole point. Showit was built for business owners and creatives who want a beautiful, custom-feeling website without having to hire a developer to build it from scratch. The templates handle the hard design decisions for you: layout, spacing, typography pairings, section flow. All you have to do is swap in your own content, photos, and colors. Most of my clients and customers have zero design background and still end up with beautiful websites that they love and can maintain themselves.
Showit templates actually have a huge range. Some are in the $250 range while others are $1000… though you’ll find some on the lower and higher ends depending on the designer and how many pages are included.
You’ll also need a Showit subscription, which starts around $27/month for the basic plan (you’ll want at least the plan that includes WordPress if you’re blogging). Just plan for both in your budget so you’re not surprised! And if you’re already paying website hosting to another platform, you can ditch that subscription and swap it for Showit instead.
This depends entirely on which template you buy and what you do with it…. There are absolutely templates in this space that look gorgeous on the surface and “fall apart” structurally the second you start swapping in your own content… poor spacing logic, no real UX structure, just vibes. That’s a real thing and it’s worth knowing going in.
The Showit templates actually worth buying are the ones built around how a real business functions, not just how a homepage screenshot looks on Pinterest. That means logical page flow, conversion-minded layouts, sections that actually have a job to do. When you buy the right template, you’re not paying for pretty. You’re paying for the strategic thinking baked into the structure.
Of course!! You can change the colors, fonts, images, section order, layout elements, # of pages… literally anything. I actually have a whole other post on ways you can make your Showit template look like a custom website even when you are DIYing your site.
A Showit website template gives you a professionally designed starting point that you customize yourself with a faster timeline and lower cost that still gives you a beautiful result. Website templates are great for businesses that are eager to launch quickly and have a clear sense of their brand.
A custom Showit website is designed from scratch specifically for your brand, your offers, and your goals, usually by a designer who has learned all the ins and outs of your business and target market.
Custom is usually the way to go when you’ve outgrown a template, need strategic guidance on how to organize everything and optimize for conversion and/or want a design that is truly unique to your niche.
It depends on the designer really! Most reputable template shops include some level of documentation, video walkthroughs, or email support for installation questions. What they typically don’t include is done-for-you customization which is usually a separate service. If you want a designer in your corner while you set things up, that’s what my Launch Confidence Call is for.
Yes… but ranking your site and content will have way more to do with your 1) knowledge of SEO, 2) ability to write quality content and 3) understanding your market than which platform or website template you’re using in the majority of cases.
Showit gives you the keys to handle SEO essentials: page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and the ability to assign heading tags (H1, H2, etc.) to any text without affecting how it looks on the page. (That last one is actually a bigger deal than it sounds for SEO structure.)
Plus, one of the biggest SEO advantage is the WordPress integration. Your blog runs on WordPress, which means you get a real, indexed, SEO-powerful blog. That’s where most of my organic traffic comes from, and it’s why I’ve been recommending Showit to my clients for over a decade.
If you’re having trouble ranking your Showit website or blog, you will love these ranking tips.
How to Choose the Right Showit Template
A few last things to keep in mind before you click buy on ANY template…
Buy for your business model, not just your aesthetic. A template that has a beautiful homepage but no sales page infrastructure isn’t going to work for a coach selling a $2k program. Make sure the template was actually built for how your business makes money.
You can always change the colors and fonts... but it’s a little more work to change the entire layout and structure of a design. So focus on whether the pages, sections, and flow make sense for your business… the decorative stuff is the easy part.
